Building Resilient Defense Communities
Communities that host military installations are facing an increasingly urgent set of concerns including budget cuts, a looming BRAC, and evolving missions and force realignments/reductions.
Given the scale of these challenges, it is imperative community leaders understand the current defense environment and the role they can play in supporting their defense infrastructure.

The State of Washington utilized a grant from the Department of Defense Office of Economic Adjustment to perform a study of the State’s defense industry and workforce, with involvement from state-wide business and community leaders. The results of that study have just been released. Hear from the team that led this effort as they highlight their results.
