Service Member for Life – Transition Summit: Day 2

Day Two is intended to focus on Transitioning Service Members, Family Members, National Guard and Reserve Members and Veterans looking for employment. The purpose of the day is to prepare, educate and link participants to resources to be successful in the different industry sectors whether their goal is employment, education, technical training or small business. The morning sessions will each be 3 hours long. The sessions will highlight the 4 transition tracks within each sector. It is the goal of each of the sector presenters to help shape your understanding of where jobs are now and where they will be when you are ready to transition with a good idea on the economic outlook of a particular sector, what educational programs are available to help you grow your knowledge within a sector, what small business opportunities are available if you want to start your own and an opportunity to talk candidly with hiring managers and HR personnel about what they are looking for when coming to work in their sector.
